I have a stock Streetglide windshield on my bike and am thinking of buying the single fairing pouch, part 58248-96. Does anyone know if the windshield will conseal the pouch or will it stick out? I have a 3 pouch set and they stick out on the sides, don't like the look.
I have that same pouch on my Street Glide.
With the stock wind deflector, the pouch will not stick out on the sides.
But it will be about the same height as your stock wind deflector.
It was also very hard to make it fit with the stock wind deflector.
They seem to angle back just a bit more than a normal windshield, which makes it harder to get everything bolted into place.
I got mine to fit, but it was extremely tight.
I have since went with a 9.5" Clearview shield and it fits and looks fine with that one.
I use the 2 bag HD unit and it fits behind the stock shield. It also fits behind the 6.5 klockwerks shield, but is smooshed a bit.
Do you have a picture of the shield with the bags? I am thinking about getting an 8.5 klockwerk shield because I was told my 2 bag set up wont work with a 6.5.
