Default 120R is home!

I finally got my bike ,after a wait on the throttle body and some new pipes to make some hp. Riding impressions after a short 30mile ride home is a little mixed? It didn't scare me as much as I had hoped, It is fast and smooth no peaky race motor habits. I don't know if I would classify it as a race motor, it is very mild mannered, get on the throttle and it is more like a diesel or a freight train it just keeps pulling! Torque ,torque and more torque! I can roll on the throttle in any gear and it pulls like mad. The clutch pull is not as bad as I thought it would be but it is definitely not good! So numbers! I have a 2010 Road Glide 120R is right from the box ,58mm TB,screaming eagle clutch,RSD intake,D&D bossZilla pipes, making 132 hp, 123 tq sae Im hoping to post charts later ,(busy) I've got a set of v&h true duels with competition series slip-ons for sale! I will post some more as I get more miles on,Who knows when that will be I woke up to about 2inchs of snow this morning? This spring sucks!

Hmmm....It will be interesting to see your SAE chart. I wonder if the tune is just a bit off? You should be getting higher tq than hp (IMO).

To get that "scare the hell out of you feeling," you would want more tq than hp, like many of the supercars (for example, a buddy of mine has a 2001 Porsche 996 turbo, with custom work done. The car dyno'd at 765bhp to the wheels [awd car!!] and 845ft-lb of tq. When you launch in the car in either 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th, it will absolutely SLAM you into the back of the seat and before you know it, you are doing 150mph).

Obviously there are differences between his car and your scoot, but from all the things I have read about the 120R, I wonder if the tune is just a little off?

Look forward to the chart! Have a blast on the scoot.

Sounds like it is going to be quite the bike. Keep us informed on what fun it is. After the snow melts of course.

These motors are a blast. Almost an identical set up as you. I'm still waiting for a few more miles on her before I take it back in to finish up the tune. As it sits right now, 125/125, tech said there is still some more left.

enjoy

Sounds good to me.....If I did the 120....I'd want a torque beast for my bagger.

I'm so jealous!! Should have just done the 120 instead of building a 103". Well, it was 85 here yesterday, gonna be 84 today and low to mid 70's the rest of the week! So there!!
