Ok so i have bought the street glide fascia and its at paint, and i have researched how to install the fascia and the light. Just took off my taillight assy and checked my plugs and from what i see there is no place to plug in the assy. Enclosed is pictures of the taillight assy, run/brake light, and the plug which has male connectors. Trying to hook up to a 09 FLHT.
updated tail light won't help you... I spliced mine in to the incoming wire harness but i have the newer tri-light you can splice the one you have in too the plate light
I dont plan on running a tour pack, and is this said harness inside of the fender tied up with the rest of the wiring harness?
Thanks
The harness Dawg referred to and the one you want is the tour pak harness and it will be on the left side of the bike under the side cover or along the frame in the vicinity of the seat. Since your bike is an FLHT, it may also have the antenna cable with it. The tour pak harness will have a three wire connector that mates with the SG LED light you have. That harness is what's used on the SG for the LED light.
ok i am guessing that i found the tourpak harness it was behind the left side cover next to the antenna harness. Enclosed is pics of the connector and of the run light and brake light. For those of us with the 09 FLHT and any other model with the harness behind the side cover i hope that this helps.
thanks for the help harleypingman and dawg
