I think Prego spagetti sauce is better than Ragu and that Stouffers frozen dinners are better than Swansons but these statements are just my opinion and not backed up by proven facts.
This filter is better than that filter. Amsoil is better than Moblil1. K&N was the overall winner in oil filter testing. All statements. Anyone can make a statement, doesn't mean that it is true or that I should belive it. Where is the proof to back all this up? Show me the facts.
In the mean time use what you want and you can be the judge of how a product works.
Well said!!!!! Some people think when the use aftermarket instead of moco..their S**t don't stink... tired of the attitude, and slamming the moco...not even sure why they own a Harley...
Old School here, I use Hd Dino in the engine, and Forumla+ in the Tranny and Primary. Been using Hd oils for over 40yrs, without any Oil related problems. Also use the HD oil filter, and will not change. Guess that makes Me a Dumba**!
I'll stick with Hd filters maybe thats why I not on the Internet with some new issue everyday.
No wonder so many riders have problems with their rides So called Indy shops and every ones cheap after make parts and filters.

Frankly too much credit is given to the vtwins. They are primitive engines and will run on just about any oil and oil filter that fits. Go with whatever your personal preference is.

I agree with you Atrain. The Harley Vtwin engine is a close cousin of the early radial engines used in aircraft and tanks. Change the oil and filter at regular intervals and it will be just fine no matter what brand including the Hundred Dollar brand.
