This filter is better than that filter. Amsoil is better than Moblil1. K&N was the overall winner in oil filter testing. All statements. Anyone can make a statement, doesn't mean that it is true or that I should belive it. Where is the proof to back all this up? Show me the facts.

In the mean time use what you want and you can be the judge of how a product works.
Well said!!!!! Some people think when the use aftermarket instead of moco..their S**t don't stink... tired of the attitude, and slamming the moco...not even sure why they own a Harley...

Old School here, I use Hd Dino in the engine, and Forumla+ in the Tranny and Primary. Been using Hd oils for over 40yrs, without any Oil related problems. Also use the HD oil filter, and will not change. Guess that makes Me a Dumba**!

I agree. Not even on my lawn mower. Had a few problems with Fram filters, and it don't take but a few to never use them again.

Frankly too much credit is given to the vtwins. They are primitive engines and will run on just about any oil and oil filter that fits. Go with whatever your personal preference is.

I agree with you Atrain. The Harley Vtwin engine is a close cousin of the early radial engines used in aircraft and tanks. Change the oil and filter at regular intervals and it will be just fine no matter what brand including the Hundred Dollar brand.

This is a list of motorcycles and ATVs and the filters they use.
(Edited out my rudeness)

Don`t trust these websites, you don`t know who made these listings.

The listings for Harley oil filters on this site are incorrect.

Do your own research. There are accurate cross references out there.

By the way, to answer the original post, PH6022 is an EVO oil filter.
