Well the issue here is that the last holes (bar end) on the grip may need to be pushed over a little further. I have the grips fitted on my bike and yes you can see a tiny part of the fly by wire. I would make sure the grip is pushed all the way up. If it is then I am afraid it's the best it can be with the redesign I pointed out. Please email some pictures please
The grips are defective. Some of the groves where chrome and some were not. This caused it to not set on the fly by wire or slide all the up. I returned them to Harley. No deal, Ill just stick with my stock ones.
Bought a pair of round black pair same problem.. other than that they look bad ***. But for 180 a pair extremely dissapointed and if you know about the issue why are you still selling them. Also if you are installing them on stock bars the left side will be discolored do to factory glued on grips. You make some killer pieces but the grips need to be fixxed. Perhaps a little deeper at bottem of grip.

How is the glue Battistini's fault? Besides, put some elbow grease into it and you can get the glue off. I used Goo B Gone I think and then finished up with chrome cleaner. No problem.
As far as the other complaint in the thread: Yes, you can see a bit of plastic for the TBW. I don't like it either. Battistini should adjust the holes for the future. Doesn't make them defective though. Love these grips and wish the floorboards weren't so damn expensive.
Speaking of defective though, I did just notice a bad spot developing in the chrome and am gonna have to give them a call.
