I could use some information from all you guys that have already installed your Draggin Bagger suspension system. I'm still sittin on the fence so.....(1) How many miles have you ridden with the new system? (2)Solo or two-up? (3) Is the ride better/worse/ same and why? (4) If you could change any aspect of the system what would it be? I'm sure there are a lot of us waiting for you guys to pioneer on our behalf so thanks in advance for any information.
It is definitely a firmer ride and I don't think you would want to ride very far at a lower air pressure. The wife and I put about 50 miles on ours this weekend and she was complaining some about the firmer ride but adding air smoothed it out pretty good.
It's great. And to clarify what v2plus15 said, it is only firmer than stock if you choose to run less air in the system. You can make it feel exactly like the stock system or even better by adjusting the amount of air. Where that sweet spot is for you and your bike depends on how much you weigh etc etc. To me it feels better than stock, and no weirdness in cornering either - rides positive and true. You adjust on the fly for whatever road conditions you're on. Starts to get bumpy I'll shoot a little more in until it feels right, when it smooths out I'll drop it some. Honestly I have yet to ride it two up, but given the fact that the system will do 120 lbs of pressure as opposed to the stock 35 lbs, it should more than handle any amount of weight you throw at it. Hope that helps
I WENT THRU THE SAME THING WITH POOR INSTRUCTIONS AS FAR AS BEING LEGIBLE. TONY EMAILED THEM IN PDF FORMAT AND 45 MINTUTES LATER THE SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED AND WORKED LIKE A CHARM.....I DO HAVE ONE QUESTION THOUGH; WHAT SIZE REAR TIRE IS EVERYBODY RUNNING? I HAVE A METZLER 880 IN SIZE 140/90/16 ON THE REAR OF MY ROADKING AND THE BACK TIRE SCRUBS EVEN BEFORE ALL THE AIR IS LET OUT OF THE SHOCK.....I HAVE ORDERED A 140/85/16 AND I HOPE THIS ELIMINATES THE PROBLEM. I ALSO READ ON THIS FORUM THAT SOMEBODY CAN RIDE THE BIKE WITH IT FULLY SLAMMED SO I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT SIZE TIRE HE HAS ON THE REAR. THANKS FOR READING!!!
