Try Turtle Wax Black Box. Follow instructions. Then a California Duster, very lightly, as needed. In between treatments. All equipment must be picked clean before using each time. Miracle fiber cloths are fine, if taken care of.

I just purchased H-D valve stem caps with black top and Bar and Shield logo in white. Got two bags of fresh air @ 1/2 price. Transmison don't clunk as much as before and second gear is much stronger. Will wait until break in period is over before testing top end speed. Parts lady was sure valve caps would improve overall performance since they are black and matched the Black Beauty and they don't get thrown off or get rogued.

Black and chrome will get you home!Had Pewter Pearl on SG (good camouflage colour for the dirt) but black is still the fastest and timeless!!

My Vivid Black Ultra isn’t very fast. Did I get a defective Vivid Black Harley?
This isn’t my first black Harley. I wipe mine down and ride. I hate to say it but I don’t wash my bike like I use to. I wouldn’t think of having another color. “Basic Biker Black“.
I like black so much, I’m gonna go with black wall tires when the OEM’s wear out.

Most of my HD have been black. BUT not anymore. Black looks the best,IMO. I just want to ride. I'm to old to be gettin down on the floor to clean. really it ain't the gettin down that's bad. It's the gettin up. No I don't want to but a bike jack either. You could do like my buddy does with his balck bike,never wash it. The only time his 07 gets washed is when it gets serviced. Some times he washes the W/S & the top half of batwing.

Somethings not right. It should be fast since its black, take it back to the dealer. HEHE. I love black Harleys but it does suck trying to keep them looking good.
