Need to rethink stereo upgrades
The speakers shown in their pictures is the old style but I don't think they stock anything so likely it is just an old picture. Might not include adapters either. Best to ask them though.

I'll report back when they're installed. Together with the Hogtunes Tweeter Pod they will bring my final-load impedance up to 2Ω, which is more comfortable territory. The only qualms I have about these is their heavy weight. Here are some stats I've acquired in the past week:
Stock speakers: 14 oz.
J&M 7ź" Rokkers: 18 oz.
Hogtunes 5ź": 28 oz.
Hertz 6ź": 40 oz.
The concern is the stress they'll put on the already weak and incompetent HD fairing brackets, which have trouble securing much of anything without breaking. However, these have been redesigned and the new part ("B" suffix) appears to be more robust. We'll see how they hold up after the HD paint-shaker rattles these heavy speakers around for months on end. With the old bracket design I broke three horizontals and one vertical in 4˝ years. The vertical was fixed with a piece of angle iron, with the other one similarly fortified, and both are holding up well after 2˝ years and one accident.
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
pretty easy choice now right ? ,,,,,
the J&M 7.25" ROKKERs are the LIGHTEST of all the hot-snot speaker upgrades for your Harley and also the BEST PERFORMING ,,,,,,
I don't want to sound like a broken record, or your favorite traveling salesman, but I have had a new Ultra every year since 1989, and the J&M 7.25" ROKKER series speakers are THE BEST performing speakers I have ever heard in the Harley bagger fairings, for both RoadGlide and StreetGlide/Ultra ,,,,
The J&M amplifiers are THE MOST powerful amplifiers for your Harley fairing ,,, 125 watts RMS continuous per channel, driven into an 8-ohm load ,,, 75 watts RMS per channel continuous into a 4-ohm load ,,,,,
I believe the choices are clear ,,,,,,
