What's wrong with the Harley Road King High Handlebars? They do not need cable or brake line changes and move the hand grips higher and closer to the rider. What I did was buy a couple of different bars from the dealer, they had a set of take offs from a Heritage so they let me take them home to try. I unclamped the stock bars and hung them out of the way wrapped to protect the bike and placed every set of bars in the clamp to get a feel for them. After I decided on a bar I returned the rest back to the dealer. Personally I didn't like the looks of the Heritage bars. You have to pull them so far back to get the right angle for the hand grips that they are not in line with the front forks. The High bars felt better and looked better than the Heritage bars IMO. I was positive I was going to go with the Heritage bars, after all they come on the Police bikes so they must be good. Well they are good but I found the High bars offered more comfort. Always make sure your happy with your seat before picking out handlebars.
