LRS standard flip 9" in light gray/smoke. I am 6'2" with a 34" inseam on the stock seat. Shield comes to below my mount/nose, and all the air goes over my head, no buffeting. Rain goes straight at my face, but that's to be expected...shield is perfect for me.

Looking through the shield can be very challenging in certain circumstances. If you and the OP want to try out an LRS shield, I will guarantee not only it fitting and durability, but also your absolute satisfaction with performance for you and your passenger. Just call me up of pm me and I will take care of you. If you're not happy with it in any way, I'll take it back with a full refund.

... and I'll report my satisfaction here. OK with you?

The Aero Windshield is Polycarbonate, double hard coated & .138" thick.
It comes with a 1 year warranty & 100% guaranteed to fit correctly.

Drop by the web site, look around & if you need to, give us a call.

I called FastAire Friday afternoon and spoke with the owner Jim. I had some questions regarding his windshields. Jim answered all of my questions and I placed an order with him during the call. The windshield was delivered this morning, along with the Freedom Wings I also ordered from FastAire. I appreciate Jim's help with my questions and the fast service that he delivered. I had an 8" flat windshield (no recurve) on my bike (ebay purchase). I liked the height but there was a little wind buffeting. I can't wait to get the 8" Aero recurve windshield installed on my UC.

Are the freedom wings different from the HD wind deflectors?

We sell a ton of Klock Werks shields and seem to have very good luck. The guys that don't like the aggressive look seem to be happy with Wind Vest. Klock is a natural choice for us due to their location and participation at our events, etc.

IMO if you're looking for a quality shield with fantastic handling characteristics....Klock Werks "Flare" is by far the best choice! I was totally amazed at the difference it made on my bike(2011 Ultra Limited) I can actually pass Semi's with one hand on the bars and do it comfortably. I got the 8.5" first, but had some buffeting, so I ordered the 11". I'm 6' tall on a stock seat. My local HD dealer carries them, so maybe your dealer does as well and would be willing to let you try one out. You will not believe the difference it makes in handling at speed! Oh and I forgot to mention that they come in a variety of tints and look awesome!!

The Freedom Wings are somewhat similar to the HD wind deflectors. I had the HD deflectors on my UC but one cracked so I thought I would try the Freedom Wings deflectors. They are a close color match to my dark grey Fast Aire Aero windshield.
