1.5" for sure. I run them on my softail and they are so nice. Here is a pic of them. The risers I have come with a set screw to hold the bars in place as well which is a really nice tough. They are rock solid no matter what you do to them.
After having 1.5" bars everything else looks like a piece of spaghetti.
