Question 1 1/4 or 1 1/2

Going to order 16" Carlini Gangster Apes this week and was wanting opinions on which size to go with, 1 1/4" or 1 1/2". I know I will need to buy a different riser set up for the bigger set. I have a 99 Road King and I think the 1 1/2" set will go better with the size of the bike.

Any thoughts? I know there will be.

Personal preference. I like the 1 1/4" bars.

Why only 16"? Go with 2" x 26" 100pd'ers so you can break off the riser bolts and clamps easier and faster and/or loose complete control on off ramps. We need a lot fewer fools around.

I have 1-1/2 inch Carlini "Bag Drag" bars on my bike, the thick bars do look good, not to mention a whole lot easier to run the wires through.
