Been there done that. Good luck as it will get resolved but it can get frustrating during the process......

TBW don't seem like a bad thing until problems with it happens to you .. 58,500 miles before it happened to my Ultra .. Biggest problem was could happen when 1st cranked up, could happen downshifting or upshifting at low speeds, or Blazing down the Highway at 80 MPH in 6th gear .. Finally found a common ground where happened everytime .. Go into Cruise and instant limp mode .. Now the dealer has it, as can't tell me couldn't make it happen .. Happens every time go into Cruise .. This may not be yours but what worked for me trying to figure out why it's happening .

I thought limp mode could only happen while idleing. Are you saying that its happening while riding?

Sure did .. Several times including Cruising at 70 MPH twice today when determined at least now can tell them how to make it happen.. had to quickly downshift into 2nd to keep it from severely lugging ..

Holy Crap!!! I would think that could severely damage the motor and be a major safety hazard that as the manual would say "May cause serious injury or death"

Limp mode is when you have no throttle response, engine will only idle. EITMS only happens at idle, cuts off rear cylinder until you move throttle .
