Happened to my 2011 Ultra Limited on a mild day after cruising about 50 mph for an hour. Stopped for a 5 minute break and when started back immeadiately went into Limp Mode. Talked to service and they said it should reset after about 15 minutes which it did. Once I got it checked had just a couple of codes and identified as throttle body connector. Cleaned, die-electric greased and has not happened again in 4000 miles.

 

My 2010 Ultra went into limp mode yesterday morning when I backed out of the garage and started it up. I did a diagnostic check through the odometer and found a P1511 code.I cleared the code and rode 200 miles with no issues. I have only had this happen once before and that was 11 months ago. I bought the bike new and the first time it threw the P1511 code was at 8,000 miles and yesterday when it happened I had 16,000 miles.I really hate the feeling of not knowing if or when it's going to happen again.

 

Just heard from the dealer that HD is overnighting a new throttle body for the Ultra Classic. Will be installed tomorrow, and I'll keep you posted of the results.
