Hope to produce 110-115hp and 120-125 torque. At least I hope
DI...sounds nice....consider Jims ProLite adjustable rods...also have you called Steve @ GMR, his lifters are less $ and gauranteed for life, they rock .... my 98 makes that hp, not the torque #'s tho...HTCC or SE heads can easily be eclipsed...on the chopper i learned that Wimmer products dont flow as much as others....you wont need a starter with 615/585 cam and 10.5 to 1 on the stage II GMR build...your combo sounds great, shop it man against some others..if you can get that kind of power out of a top end build then wonder what a stroker build with Timken bearing upgrade'll do...bet its over 130rwhp
As was mentioned in Nogoods recent htread, you might wanna consider a clutch upgrade.
How 'bout some Millenium jugs & pistons to make it a 107 instead of 103?
I think I'd talk to some builders about how much compression you're gonna be building with the stroker & those S/E Perf Heads. They have smaller than stock chambers to start with. You're liable to be creating a starting nightmare. I don't care how much ya spend on starters and ring/pinion ratio changes, you will munch some starter clutches....
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe these are the builds where the HTCC heads & pistons can shine. The larger chambers help with the CR.
I think Bryans recommendation is a good one. Talk to Steve @ GMR or one of the other speciatly shops.... THere are cams with later intake closing that really help with cranking pressure...

You know what I got a little lazy with the one stop shopping. The Jims pro lites are in as well as the GMR lifters. I know the Wimmer is said not to flow as well, but last year I had my last build(now stolen) Dynoed by Speed of Speeds performance (who helped design R&R's engines) and is considered one of the best in the business . He said the same thing before he dynoed my bike. He took his tim(2 hours) to get it perfect and put on 3 different air filters. In the end he was shocked how well the Wimmer did flow and that it was costing me maybe 1 hp, if that!! I was happy because I really like the look Also I am thinking of going with the HTCC CNC ported heads and pistons and upgrading the throttlebody. So many choices!!!!!!!!! Heres a pic of my stolen one. Nothing like putting so much time and effort into something for some bum to steal it. This was a 2000 with the paint design before HD came out with there CVO. Hmmmmmm... Sure looks similiar doesnt it??
Wimmer's products are exceptional in looks and quality...theft is unacceptable with me, sorry it happened...i think the plan you have on the rocker bases and studs is definitely a winner, wish i'd done it
I'm running the SE perf heads/flat tops on my 95 with cometic .030 head gaskets - no starter issues. The high tensile studs are overkill , my wrench had me return them. As far as flow goes :
The SE Perf heads 72cc 1.8 'Intake 1.623" Exhaust .575" lift and 6500RPM Max
Standard HTCC heads
84 CC 2" intake valve 1.550" exhaust .575" lift and 6500 RPM Max
CNC ported HTCC heads
84cc has a 2.0"intake valve, 1.623" exhaust .650" lift and 7,000 RPM Max
103 + heads
98 cc Intake valve is 2.080" dia.Exhaust valve is 1.623". .650" lift and 7000 RPMs. Max
I DO NOT THINK YOU WILL GET THOSE KIND OF NUMBERS. I JUST GOT THRU BUILDING A 103+ W/260 CAMS, CNC SE HEADS, FLAT TOP SE PISTONS AND A 51MM THROTTLEBODY. THREW THE SE RACE TUNER IN THE TRASH AND PUT ON A POWER COMMANDER AND WITH THE ENGINE SET PERFECT AND 78 DEGREE TEMP. SHE ONLY GOT 110/110. JUST MY 2 CENTS PLUS YOU DID NOT MENTION CHANGING THE THROTTLE BODY TO LARGER SIZE. HAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT JUST SELLING YOUR ENGINE AND PUTTING IN A JIMS 120. I PROMISE, YOU WILL BE HAPPIER!!!! HAVE FUN
It will be very hard to get those numbers with the combination you have suggested, I would think 105 to 108 on both sides would be pretty good. Getting away from the SE cams and going with the larger TB would push you up in the 115 range. This is coming from experience my06 Streetglide first build by HD dealer, (103", SE CNC ported heads, 50mm TB, SE 253 cams, Vance and Hines slipons, Power commander) dyno HP102 TQ 104
My cam change to SE 258 cams resulted in dyno HP 104 TQ 104, both setups above the cams didn't perform well below 3200rpm
I recently changed the cams again to Woods 400G and added the Supertrapp 2/1 exhaust, now at 2000 rpm I already have 110 TQ and tops out at 116 TQ at 3000rpm draws a pretty straight line all the way over to 5000 rpm
