What I meant was...........if you click the link the OP provided it shows a pic of the new gauges and it doesnt show a oil temperature gauge but it does describe one and I doubt its plug n play on all touring bikes like they are trying to say.........and it dont match my gauges ................on my 2011 SG .Harley used to sell one bolted to the heads.............

Now, for the slow ones, these are the guages that come standard on the Limited models, not the other touring models. They are now offereing the complete Limited guages for purchase, and have included the Limited faced oil temp gauge as an option. NO bike comes standard with a oil temp gauge, they all have the useless air temp guage.
I have thought about getting an oil temp gauge several times in past and everytime I do I then think what the hell am I going to do with the information it provides me? Most likely nothing, so what's the point. Those dipsticks ones do look kinda cool though.

I have asked on other threads "at what high oil temp do you shut your motor off"never got an answer.
I think it's just more bling.
