Shop scarin me

I am waiting for my s&s spo slip ons and was telling the guy in the shop that I'm simply putting them on with no other mods and he tells me that I will kill the cylinder because it will run too lean and yada yada. Is there anyone that has been running stock everything with only slip ons?

run it dont listen to that guy. if you change the air cleaner then you will need a new map

As already mentioned, it should be perfectly fine, it would however, be nice to know what bike you are speaking of.

thats what I have heard , one or the other is ok but if you do both then you need to remap

Thanks for the info, and putting the info in your sig as you have now done, is a good thing to do, this way people can always see what bike you have when you forget to put it in the post.

Now you know you will be fine with the slip-ons, but soon in the future let that thing breathe a little better and add some fuel to her with the next money you throw at her.
