need tech help fuse keeps blowing
My buddy ask me to ask about his 2008 Street Glide.
He needs to know what's on the 15 amp "battery" fuse?
Battery is good, bike will start, but the fuse blows.

You might have a short in the stator... could be a loose ground wire, check battery cables, manual helps in this case also tracking wiring..

I'll bet he buys a service manual soon. I'm surprised he doesn't have one already.
The bike wouldn't start the other night with the switch, but it started and ran being push started.
Anybody else with any ideas?

Mine just stated doing the same this. The battery fuse powers the tsm module and the speedo and tach. I have gone through 4 fuses in 2 days. It kills the 2 main gages and odometer and the stater button and all the functions of the tsm module witch includes the alarm.
I can not reproduce what is causing it.
I will be trouble shooting till I figure it out.

My 05 road glide just shut off doing 70. Had the radio playing and all of a sudden I'm coasting off the highway. Now it won't start and keeps popping battery fuses. Been thru a dozen already. Can't find any bare wires.
