I just installed a 255 cam in my 2010 103 with the Fuel Moto Jackpot mufflers, AC and PCV. There was big difference in the loping idle compared to the stock cam when I started it up. I was surprised because of the reports on this Forum saying that many did not feel much of a difference with this cam. I used the Fuel Moto Map and ran the bike up to 5K and it was as smooth as silk. Did anybody else feel like the 255 was providing a bigger lope at lower RPM's. Of course the torque was also very noticible
With Dual exhaust all the way back I noticed a slight lope then my wife bought me the Curved Radius and has the potato lope. Noticed over my 500 mile trip even my voltage dropped a little at idle.
I've put in a couple of sets of 255 cams into friends bikes. They don't sound a whole lot different than stock cams, true duals will accentuate any idle lope.
SE211 cams have a nice sounding idle, so do 257s and 258s.
The EFI bikes don't lope like carbed bikes but they have a little lope...I have a Andrews 26H set of cams and i thought it would really change the idle but surprisingly very natural sounding until i twist the throttle...

I just saw where you were from. Snow hill! When I was a young marine I got caught doing about 90 mph down route 258 (I believe that was the route) around 3 am. This was back in 1979,! Nc State Trooper was hiding in a cornfield! Funny stuff. He was mad. They didn't like guys from the north. Lol so how is old snow hill? Still pretty place?
