I have an 07 Street glide. I have a set of Hog Tune speakers and not quite getting the sound I am looking for ,I see that a lot of people are using Hog Tunes and Biketronics and such ,has anyone used auto speakers/amps and what was the outcome? Any help will do.

 

Yes there is hours of reading. Check search function with key words amps, speakers. Also can read through some of the audio sticky threads.

 

As Sam said, there is plenty of reading in the archives on this subject. I went the car audio route myself. I have an Alpine head unit/ipod controller and JL Audio speakers, amp and sub. It sounds pretty good to my ears, and certainly gets plenty loud.

Thanks for the reply, I ran many searches prior to starting this thread but i kept running into all of the standard hog tunes, biketronics, etc so i was trying to capture other than the standard options. My Hog Tune speakers are really clear but they just seem to be highs and no mids or bass, so i was trying to see what others have tried.

 

Try key words Elf amp. Arc amp. Arc audio. J&M amp. Polk. Hertz.

Sound is so SUBJECTIVE I reserve my comments. I am using J&M speakers, Elf amp, Sony marine head unit. Someday I am ok with it other days I want more. LOL

But I am not willing to start putting 6x9 speakers and amps in saddle bags etc.
