I was looking at a post on the msn harley tech talk they had a mod to install a siren on the alarm system from radio shack for about 10 bucks instead of paying 70 bucks for the harley siren
but you will have to cut wires or find a plug that fits . So i'm probbaly better off buying the harley siren

If you had tried to steal it you could have heard what it sounded like. LOL

I did the radio shack siren mod on my Street Glide with no problems. When I first checked it I thought it didn't work. There was only a short little bleep. Turns out there is a momentary delay and then the siren starts. Pretty loud for $6. I spliced the wires and used shrink tubing. There's a thread on here with complete directions.[sm=smiley20.gif]

The MOCO siren has a battery back up, if you disconnect the battery when the alarm is set it will still go off. Its a nice unit - I bought one.

$84.95 p/n 68328-02 Harley-DavidsonÂŽ Factory Security System Smart Siren Kit
$89.95 p.n 68328-06 Harley-DavidsonÂŽ Security System Smart Siren II
$5.96 p/n 273-079 Radio Shack 109db Piezo Siren

Since I have an Ultra, and disconnecting the battery means removing the seat,(Which is a real pain with the tour pak) by the time that gets done, a thief will have woke up everyone for three blocks. Silencing the siren(For a thief) requires removing right side hard bag . electrical cover, ECM, and ECM mounting electrical cover.(Thats also where the plug is to connect the siren is, from the factory)

If you don't want to cut and splice, the plug is a DELPHI Connector, not a Deutsch Connector.

Whats nice is if you set your sensitivity to level 4, bumping the bike results in a single chirp, you forget to deactivate your alarm , you get two single 1 second chirps, and time to deactivate it with the fob, before the siren just constantly screams
