I let the dealership talk me into the parts and dyno. Disappointed in the numbers, hope it is the just that the dyno base numbers are low.
Before tune
SE AC, V&H Power Duals, Rush with 1.75" HP 60.67, TQ 72.49
After tune
SE AC, V&H Power Duals, Rush with 1.75", SESPT HP 71.05, TQ 81.76
Gained a little over 10hp with the tune. Should have called FuelMoto.
How does it run? Remember a dyno is an uncalibrated tuning tool. What the FM dyno and your dealers dyno will report can be very different as they are not calibrated or run by the same operator.
If your bike runs good and sounds good. Don't worry about the dyno numbers...unless you're entering your bike in a lot of dyno shoot outs.
---------- and peak numbers don't tell much of the story.
put your graphs on top of each other, do you similar gains all through the rpm band.
in any case, you are ahead of where you started and this shows that a tune on top of bolt on parts can be a good thing.
there are other ways- and I've seen some really disappointed riders who tried other tuning products. but if you think FM is the way to go, you could certainly try that and dyno again- that'd be interesting
more power? cams and headwork, matched to your riding style and typical loaded weight of the bike ( solo/ 2 up loaded with kack.)
Ya...what he said. Do you like how it runs? Is it fun and comfortable to ride? If so, who gives a **** about the numbers. You can always get more out of it, but where does it end. Just ride it, enjoy it, and don't compare numbers with anyone cuz with those you will probably be the low man. LOL!!!
With the stock cam that's about all you will get out of it.
Correct! Yet a simple bolt in cam and without head work will really wake the 103 up. You'll be really happy with the performance without any serious modifications, or go the fuel moto route!
