Default Motorcycle Stand - Wheel Chock

I'm looking for an inexpensive way to hold my bagger up straight (unassisted) while changing the fluids in my garage. Harbor Freight has a US General Motorcycle Stand/Wheel Chock on sale for $39.99 from $89.99. While this item work for what I want? Is there a better option out there?

I have the Harbor Freight one mounted to a piece of 3/4 plywood for extra stability. There was once different models, I have the one with the secure wheel strap on front. It does fine for minor workings

Love my Harbor Freight wheel dock, I also have it mounted to a piece of 3/4 inch plywood... mainly used in my trailer for strapping bike in but can be used for servicing. Also bought their motorcycle jack... use it for checking/changing fluids and cleaning bike... Both work great... Also use this and save more

Thanks guys. I went ahead and pulled the trigger. Regular price was $89.99 and the sale price was actually $69.99, but my motorcycle magazine had a coupon for the $39.99. I just put it together and put the RG on it. It seems sturdy enough for doign minor jobs in my garage. I do use my hook straps though to make sure. I didn't the the plywood thing you guys did though. I just backed it up to the garage wall and slowly drove the bike up onto it. I'm gonna change my Primary fluid today. I did the oil and tranny fluids last weekend. If you guys have a pic of your with the plywood, I'd like to see it.

I just use the chinese sams club motorcycle jack I already have, put in under the bike and lift gently to upright.

however I never use a jack to change oil or primary...oil drain is in the right place for gravity on jiffy stand, primary too.

tranny fluid maybe- I change oil 3 times for every tranny change.

regarding jacks- yes i know someone wants to sell me a jack for $400. my cheapo works great and was $60 10 or more years ago.

Hey would one of you guys be nice enough to scan and post your $39 coupon for the wheel chock coupon?

Or the name of the magazine?

Thanks!

i,ve had this wheel chock mounted in my enclosed trailer for about three years now. its a little hard to get my street glide back out of the chock, but since it holds the bike up unassisted, it sure comes in handy when loading the bike by myself.
