I bought this in July of this year right before the 12s came out and got a big discount. I haven't done a lot to it yet but here is the bike in solo mode. Bike is a lot sportier this way...I can see why guys love the Streetglides so much. It feels like a totally different bike. For those trying to decide on the detach kit...I would highly recommend it!
I will be gutting the cat and putting fulsac 2.25 inch baffles in the mufflers as soon as my high flow air cleaner comes in. I can't wait to lose the football. I also have a painted inner fairing to put on.

Just curious, where did you stuff all the wiring. When I did my 5K service, I removed the bags and tour pak for cleaning and ease of maintenance and wondered where all those wires could be neatly tucked while in the SG mode.
Thanks for all the props guys! The wires are tucked under the seat. I highly recommend the detachable kit. It's like having 2 bikes. It takes me 8 minutes to take the tourpak off or put it on and swap the seat. When the wife rides, the tourpak goes on. The cost for the kit is somewhere around $500 from one of the 20% off dealers.
Thanks for the tip on the plate relocater. I will definitely be relocating the plate.
