Default Battery draining

Will let bike sit for a week then hook up tender, it takes an hour to turn green, do this every week same thing, ride the bike and it takes and hour or more to turn green, just had the stator replaced, how do I check to to see if there is a phantom short somewhere?

My charging needle go's to 13 almost 14 when bike is over 2k rpm. Is it possible the regulator is going too?

if your charging needle is your gauge on your dash, my bike reads 14 volts at idle which is at about 1000 rpm

you probably do not have a problem.

you can search and you can read up on how to check the charging system with a voltmeter.

remember that models with radios and alarms will use a small amount of electricity when the bike is turned off.

another thing to consider is that vehicles designed to have gel cell batteries don't charge the battery all the way to help prevent gassing the battery maybe your charger is "topping off" the battery. is your battery tender a tender plus???.....I don't know if hd does all this but its worth looking into..
