Now that sounds like the route I'll most likely take, I've never been the trusting type when it comes to my bike, I've always did it myself as much as possible. And I like the idea of it always tuning itself. Nothing wrong with the sert or dyno jet, just have a problem with the dyno part no one around here that I've heard to much about, and to many here that bad mouthed poor dyno jobs![:@] it's just about another $550 A dynojet and a dyno tune and you're about or over half way there if they get it right the 1st time closer if they don't! I'll just wait a little longer got a B day coming up in March should take care of some of it and the free check from the 5 payday months I pay myself should cover the rest! who knows might even sell a few more XM Sirius mounts by then. Keep us up to date on it! Good Thread!!!

I started the research on the ThunderMax 12 months ago. Just got my bike in March 06 after being off one for 30 years. Knew I would do things to the engine and did not want to rebuy things. To me the ThunderMax won out on the criteria I set up and in the ling run was going to be the same or cheaper than the other products out there. SO I started to save up 10 months ago. The extra time it took to get to where I am with the ThunderMax setup was worth the wait for me.

Hang in there and scrape the pennies together and I do not think you will be disappointed.

I will keep you updated on how it continues to perform. Not sure when that update will be though. Last week on Wednesday I spent the day driving around in 65-70 degree weather. Today, freezing rain, sleet & 6-12 inches of snow on the way. Go figure. But like we say around here, if you do not like the weather, stick around for several days, it is bound to change to something you like.

07 SG T Max set up on my bike since Sep no other mods except air filter . My 02 E glide 95" 107 torque SE 6 speed runs great
but the stock SG with It's new design 6 speed ran better (over all) on my trip to Indy last month
The T max system is well worth the money Now I"m waiting for Zippers to finish and test a 117" they're building
When they are done I'll have all the right parts to put one in my 07 SG this winter Including the correct maps

ORIGINAL: Ram

Thats next when I get a nice 2 into 1 clamp less exhaust with bungs factory installed.

A real good thread of a unit like this one was going a couple month ago, but from a different MFG.

https://www.hdforums.com/m_687698/tm.htm
Unless someone changes my mind, I'm going for the Thunder Max and auto tune for my '05
I'll need to get the "Bungs" welded into my TD Reinhart's. Bungs are $10 apiece.
