Blah, blah, blah, I've got a 96" with cams and a dyno, one friend had a 103" dyno'd, and another has a CVO Springer with a stock 110", and I beat both of them no problem. If I was going to buy new, a 103" would be a good starting point, but comparing stock to stock, there is a very neglible difference between either engines. The guys that claim that there is a huge difference from a 96" to a 103" are either ignorant, or "drinking the kool-aid".

2011 - white Hot Demin -- -2012 & 2013 -- No More White SG's !!!
2013 - very minor mechanical changes i heard.. can't remeber what though.. maybe something about Cam bearing and oil pump delivery modifaction.

If the heat issue is the big hang up, remember that there are ways of dealing with it that most people do anyway...I.e. exhaust mod, tune..etc.
