I'm new to these forums as I am the new owner of an '06 Screamin' Eagle Ultra Classic. After two Yamahas and a Goldwing, I'm thrilled at this awesome ride. Unfortunately, I have a small light scratch on the top of one hard bag and I'd like to fix it, without making it worse if possible. I did a search and couldn't come up with anything, so if anyone can help me out with products and order, I'd greatly appreciate the help. Thanks--

The only real fix is to trade the bike in a new one!! I guess you could always buy touch up paint from the dealer but Id suggest the first option. In all reality the first scratch is always the worst, If its not through the clear coat you could have someone buff it out.
I think this topic has been up before!!! Check the detailing section of the forum, or do a search. I dropped my hard bag, and have a couple scratches on it.
I read where I should fill/paint the scratches in with touch up paint, then wet sand it down with 1500 0r 2000 grit paper. I will do that next season when I pull it out of the moth *****.....LOL..... good luck
Guys ... come on now....its a motorcycle. If you ride them enough, its gonna happen
Get the correct touch-up paint from the dealer
Clean the scratch with alcohol to remove wax
Lightly apply the paint ... often several applications work best
Carefully finish it with 1200 paper
Polish it back smooth then wax it
It will never be perfect but it will look better
Then wait until the next scratch or rock chip happens...and do it again
I agree; a little wear is just going to show up. But try some of HD's scratch and swirl remover. It works pretty well on small stuff, and it definitely won't make things worse.

Amen. If you're ever asked about the scratch, just come up with some cool story about how the stripper's high heeled boot caused it.

All jokes a side... That's exactly what happened to mine!!!! That sexy B*&%H. She thought she could make up for it later but the next morning the damn scratch was still there !!! Oh well.
Depending on how deep, long and wide the scratch is.... A SHARPIE Permanent marker works wonders.

You are refering to the scratch on you saddlebag....Right?
Yeah, when the doorknobs that had my bike last slid both my Vivid Black hardbags across their filthy shop floor I used a black permanent marker to cover them up. All the scratches were on the bottom and out of plain sight.
