99 RKC, 64k miles. Bike ALWAYS starts right up til yesterday. Was plannin to ride to daytona, went to start it & go get gas & nothing works except turn signals & horn. Drove car to daytona but wanted to post & get some feedback. I replaced 6 year old battery & main breaker, no change. Thanks in advance.
that model/year has a "tip over switch"--- there was a recall/service bulletin where the mounting bracket could break, leaving the switch hanging on it's wires- so depending on how it is hanging---- it works or doesn't.
i'd check that first.
Most of them broke the first 2 years out ( as my evo sailed past my pals with new bikes). I don't have wiring diagram here for your year model, but check under left side cover--- maybe on the inside of it (?)
