I have decided to buy a tall windshield for the cold weather months of riding. I want lexan/polycarbonate for the strenghth and durability. So I have narrowed it down to the HD 15" and the 14" V-Stream.
Does the"v" help divert the wind as advertised? Does the additional 2" of height help keep the top out of your line of sight? Any reviews or pics are appreciated.
I've had the V-Stream on my 2010 Ultra for the last year(16,000miles) and it's a great shield. Much more comfortable than the stock one. Only changing it out now because I switched to a Mustang seat that's lower than my original. If you're interested in saving some money, I'll let mine go for $100.
I have the 12" V Stream and like it. There are two downsides. 1) If you wear polarized sunglasses, there is distortion at the bottom and where the V portion curves. Not in the direct line of sight, but it may bother some. 2) I have the windshield bags and they are just a bit wonky with it. Not huge problems. So far, I like it.

I may be interested, depending on shape / condition, and your willingness to lower the price. I can buy a new one on eBay for $99 + $12.53 shipping.
