Dealer tech did the work,and from what I am told,it can only be installed one way.I am not sure yet what the exact damage was,other than the nut did come loose.

Perhaps he never cleaned to hole out from old locktight or there was oil still in the hole before he installed the new bolt and got a false torque.

Clean the factory locktite from the new bolt and use red locktite. also clean the threads in the end of the crank with some sort of solvent, brakecleaner or such. Get an 1 3/4 box in to hold the backup on the compensator and torque to the 150 lbs. I have seen 2 come loose when leaving the factory installed locktite and not using the 1 3/4 backup wrench. Also the 100 lbs then back off is probably necessary to get everything seated before torquing.
