Thanks for the response!
I hope that I am not hijacking the topic, as I am learning, and I cannot find where is the clutch switch located.
Give me some info.
Thanks again.

Same place as the brake switch, but on the opposite side (in the clutch perch). It's behind the lever in the housing.
The brake light is working fine when actuated by the front brake lever. I took the clutch lever back out and checked the clutch switch. It doesn't appear to be damaged and the clutch lever appears to be actuating it properly.
I will get it on the road and test it again as soon as I am done with work.
I just got back from a road test. The good news is, the cruise control worked initially, but after I canceled it by twisting the grip, I was unable to reset it for awhile, then I was able to set it again. Canceled it this time with the front brake and hit the resume button and it worked. Canceled again with the throttle grip and it wouldn't resume or reset.
I wonder if there is some kind of calibration procedure that has to be done with the TBW system?

The spring return is built in the potentiometers located inside the handlebar. You can see the pot when you remove the throttle handle. The plastic gear at the end of the handlebar brings the handle back to its "zero" position and operates the TBW.
Just make sure you can slide the handle by about 1/16" to give play to the plastic gear. The switch box has a groove to capture the rim of the rubber handle; that's where you observe the play.
For what its worth I have an 07 ultra, I switched the levers for chrome ones to match everything else but the clutch lever has no bump on it to engage the clutch switch (for an earlier bike). Everything works on the bike 6 gear light and cruise but I can't start it in gear which I knew was gonna happen.... I have a bad habit of going for neutral before I stop so it doesn't bother me, confuses anyone I let ride it though.
PROBLEM SOLVED! I had time to take a good close look at the problem last night. It appears the brake lever was not making good contact with the brake switch. A slight vibration of the brake lever would actuate the brake light, this disabling the cruise control.
Bear in mind the RH switch housing containing the brake switch and the master cylinder/lever assembly are 2 separate units and must be properly positioned for the brake lever to sufficiently contact the brake switch.
I adjusted the 2 assemblies to where the brake lever was positively contacting the switch. A ride this morning over a rough area (cobblestones) confirmed that it is adjusted properly. The CC stayed on without canceling.
