Hi
I have a 06 ultra with a stage one kit, v&h headers, rhinehart duals, a/c new headquarters 34 gear drive cams,se clutch upgrade.
My question is should I do a bore on my stock jugs or buy new jugs
I will be having my indy do the work as I do not have a warm work area other than my living room which is an option if bike fits thru front door(wife is alright with that idea gotta love her)or all the tools to complete the job any info will be appreciated. I am also planning on having the heads polished.
I heard somewhere it was better to bore your jugs. Something about on jugs and heads that "seasoned" ones hold up better. I could be wrong on that however. I do know it ill be cheaper to have the jugs bored instead of buying new ones. Let us know how she turns out. And tell your wife she's awesome.
You can also go 98". Here's almost the same combo. This is a carbed bike. 9.5:1, HQ 0034, Deweys Heads, Rinehart tru duals. Nice power at a safe 185 CCP.
