What about adding IDS? Can that be added on a 2007 Softail, or is that a Touring thing only?
Thanks again
I am not sure but you might check that chart I posted about gear ratios. Also, I'm thinking your sprockets on the softail are not the same as the EGs. (not positive about that) Doesn't mean you couldn't change them though.

I think I'm just going to do the front 30T pulley, don't want to increase highway RPM's too much.
I'd still like to know if IDS is an option on a Softail.

I don't know about IDS on spoke hub, you could call dealer for part numbers on sprokets for each model to see if they are the same but I doubt.
Changing the front to a 30t should give you 6.6% increase over stock ratio 66/32=2.063 vs. 66/30=2.20, 2.20/2.063= 6.6%
Changing just rear to 68/32=2.125 vs. stock 2.063= 3.2%
Changing both 68/30=2.267 vs. stock 2.063= 9.9%
Changing the front only gives you a good increase but is more labor. I just changed the rear since I have 103" and just wanted a few more rpm's at 70-75 mph. I figure it changed my speedo about 6 mph faster and I was already 2 mph fast so I did Sert upgrade as mentioned in my prior post to adjust it.
