Default Vented Lower fairings on a RKC

Does anyone have experience with the color matched HD fairing lowers on a RKC? Do they stop any of the wind buffeting that comes from down below? Personally, I do not like the looks of the "fangs" but would like to know if the fairing lowers work for wind buffeting.

Also, please share pics if you have them. I am concerned the vented fairing lowers will ruin the "old school" look.

Any advice is appreciated.

I would think they would help, but don't know they would be worth the expense, they were designed to complement the airflow of a fairing bike. That said, on my Road King, I had the fork baffle, the fork deflectors and ran the removable canvas lowers. The fork deflectors and baffle all but eliminated the buffeting and in cool or wet weather the removable lowers blocked the elements, plus they came off or on in about a minute, plus packed small. IMO, the best bang for the buck.
