I was a bearing distributor for 30 years an sold Timken, Fafnir, Torrington and all the other major brands.
To set the record straight:
Timken ONLY made Tapered Roller Bearings
Timken did purchase from Ingersoll Rand a few years back the Fafnir and Torrington names, brands and plants.
FAFNIR is the "Ball Bearing" division and Torrington is the needle, cylindrical and sperical roller bearing division.
Yes they pretty much have switched everything over to the "Timken" name in the orange and black boxes.
As of two years ago when I left the business Timken / Fafnir did NOT offer a Ball Bearing in the size that Harley requires in the front or rear wheels.
I had a customer here in North Carolina that made customer billet wheels and we sold him his bearings and at that time the only thing we could find was a Chinese import. I will do a little research and see if anything of quality is available at this time.

FWIW - PM uses this size in some of their custom wheels - get them from Japanese
company Fujikoshi. They're top of the line - not chinese / mexican / east europe
