My bike starts without the FOB anywhere near it. I thought they all came with the basic FOB security (no siren)? I didn't even notice until today when I got home and both FOBs were in my room.
check your manual, perhaps the alarm has been disabled..
assuming that the signals do not flash "armed" when the bike is shut off?
( and you do know about the $6 radio shack siren many of us use?)
and make sure you have a PIN set
Mike
I never got one, I traded in for the bike at a rally out of state and they said they would mail it to me. I never got around to folllowing up. I guess I will give them a call.

With my security, the fob is only neccessary if the security systemn has been set. My system doesn't set automatically, so unless I use the fob to set the system, I don't need the fob to start it.
