I've got the Woods 555's in my 103. They just dyno'ed it Friday. Had a heck of a time with the open exhaust of the Sinister. Ran right around 88 horse and 101 torque for the longest time until he changed the timing. Ended up with 98 horses and 109 tq. Not the greatest numbers but I believe this exhaust is holding it back. This guys done a couple 555 builds and his last with Bassani 2 into 1's gave him 102 hp 110 tq. and the curve started earlier by almost 500 rpms. Mine ramps up at about 2900 rpms.

I'm going with SE 254e cams. Have found limited info on them, but liked what I've read & heard so thought I would try them out. In shop now, had a baseline done & will be dynotuning after everything is installed.

Those should be a good choice. I re-read my post above and realized that I had typed 259e when I actually meant the 254e has slightly longer legs than the 255s.

Please let us know how the dyno runs compare.

I voted other because you left the SE 254e cams out
they were developed for EFI engines and they will out

The OP has a 103", and IMO with the benefit of more compression (~9.6 vs. 9.2 static) the SE204 would be a better fit there than in a 96" motor. In fact, based on feedback I've seen here and elsewhere it is a good combo.
