I KNOW I KNOW been beat to death...BUT.....with this new Bagger Boom system from HD.. Anyone have all the speakers and what do they think ?? Got hog tunes in front but still sucks..I know we can never have home audio sound on the road and I dont want all my side bags taken up with amps etc...but would love to hear blastin tunes at highway speeds. I doubt HD can offer that but just checkin what people think of this Boom set up....PLUS don't have tons of money to throw in a top notch stereo either ..Thnx All
I have the Boom Speakers, front and rear, along with the Boom Bass Port Kit. There was a definite improvement in sound quality. I do not have the Boom Amp. As was mentioned earlier if you're looking for the best sound out on the interstate I'd say pick up some ear buds .... but for speeds up to around 65 mph the Boom Speakers sound great.
You need to wake up your Hog Tunes with an amp. Biggest problem is distortion from the head unit. Amp will fix that HT says their speakers can handle all of the 160 watt 4 ch amp and they do. Do it yourself plug and play under fairing and get the rear spkrs you wont be sorry and it is way less than most of the others.
Good Luck
I have the Boom Speakers, front and rear, along with the Boom Bass Port Kit.
Larry did you get the 1/2 hr reflash of your radio done at the dealer after you put your bass ports in? The one they don't tell you about until the last page of the install manual.
