I too have installed chrome switch housings and buttons. Keep in mind these are preassembled in china by chineese with little chineese fingers that can fit into these housings. The right switch housing took me 8 hours alone. After that the left side went like a snap. Very tight in there with springs that disappear on a concrete floor. Good Luck, take your time and you can do it.

Even changing the black switch covers to the chrome is a pain. Lots of patients. Seems the chrome don't flex as much as the black ones trying to install them. Keeping the black housings, I like the contrast of the chrome switches in the black housings.
