Not quite sure what you're trying to say, but if you think you can get your CHTs at idle into the 240 degree neighborhood with a tune, your thinking is flawed.
"Dude", what was the first clue???? lol
Seriously, you, iclick, fabrik8r, and there are several others on here, are what keep me coming back to this site. Always very informative posts and the knowledge to back it up is obvious. Thanks to all of you!
Hey fab, The mount is looking nice. I've read that you have a powder coater lined up. Have you considered chroming any as an option?
I have considered everyones input, and I want to give people what they want. There is only one local chrome shop and they flat out suck, they ruined my Hydraulic clutch cover. For now I'm going to stick with what I can definately get done locally. I'll probably stay flat black, at least this first season and pursue some other coatings when I get some some relief this winter. Cost is another consideration, I want to keep it down so it is affordable for all. I want to do a test piece with powder chrome and see how it comes out. I can tell you the flat black is rather inconspicuous, most people never even see it until I piont it out to them.
I would like to get on the list! I've been running the lenale fan on my scooter for a couple of years and have had good luck with it. Double the fan double the fun. I moved my horn to the wall in front of the battery right side, just back of rear head pipe, and put a deutch connector on it and pluged it in to my acc switch on my dash.

I would think black is better anyway, as I see no reason to call attention to an add-on device like this it by making it bright chrome. It's for the same reason, among others, that I removed the chrome cover on my oil cooler.
It seem a little odd that there is so much emphasis and efforts to cool the oil and engines on Harley's but very few riders want a liquid cooled engines.
