Working on the bike and get to the part where I have to release throttle/idle cables. The book says to just pull the end out of the wheel and slide the cable thru the notch. Been trying for the last hour. They will not come out. The cables are to tight. Kinked the idle one already so I thought I woud ask here before I completely screw it up.
Thanks
If I would have continued messing with the bike today I can gaurantee I would have lost the end. Just the way my whole day went. Figure I have to have a fudged up day once in awhile to appreciate the good ones.
Hint.....As your pulling that cable end out have a dollop of axle grease on a free finger and dab it on the little brass bast@#d so when you drop it it will stick and not bounce!
Got them off with no problem. The only thing that went for a ride was the c clip for the cruise control. Have to go to the dealer anyhow so no big deal.
