Thanks for the respones guys. The reason I asked the question is that when I rented a 2011 SG this year, it seemed to me like there was a slight delay between twisting the throttle and when there was an actual response. Since I had never felt anything like this on my own bike, I thought it was something inherent with all TBW bikes and that nothing could be done about it. Quite honestly, it was annoying enough that it might have prevented me from buying at TBW bike. However, now that I know it's correctable, I'm okay with it. Beyond that, I thought the throttle response was crisp.

I can say that on my 2012 FLHRC I dont feel a delay, I dont have any tuner on it either, so I suppose its possible they fixed whatever you are feeling for the 2012 models, or I'm just not sophisticated enough to notice it.
