Please forgive me if anybody has posted this before, I looking to replace my 03 flhrci spoke wheels with flh style aluminum wheel.I found a low mileage set that where removed off of a 97 rk.My question is will these wheels bolt right on my bike without any mods?
They might, but I wouldn't count on it. Best ask a parts person at a dealership to look up the wheels for both year models and find out what other parts are needed. Spacers may be different, among other things.
Thanks for fast reply.do you or anybody else know if there are any other yrs that would be compatible with 03 rk wheels? My spokers are rusty down through the chrome in a couple of places and i would really like to replace them with the 8 spoke flh wheels or some type of oem wheel that's easier to clean.
figure out what sizes you have. http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....m_oem/hdmc.asp Could find a set of take offs. If you have the 1" axle with 11.5" rotors in the front, you could go up to an 07 for a take off. I dumped my spokes and went with chrome mags.

if i am not mistaken the bearings are a different size.3/4in for the 97,1in for your bike.but,if the center part of the wheel will accept your spacer, you can change the bearings to 1in. the outside diameter is the same for both the 3/4in and the 1in.bearings.i am currently running an chrome aluminum sportster wheel on the rear of my 06 ultra.i took enough meat out of the center of the wheel for my 1in spacer to slide through, and installed 1in bearings and i have worn out 3 tires so far with no problems.
