I'm changing out my Vance and Hines Pro Pipe on my 2010 Street Glide to a 2-1-2 exhaust. I purchased a Cobra Power port 2-1-2 head pipe but did not get a good feel for what mufflers to run. I want just ever so slightly louder than stock without that deep hollow drone that I hear with so many other pipes, the Pro Pipe included. I liked the crisp but quieter sound of the Screaming Eagle mufflers which was a good balance. Just slightly louder than stock!
I then called Fuel Moto and talked to Keith about getting my PCV retuned for the new pipes. We talked mufflers and I decided to go with the Fuel Moto Jackpot 3.5 Dyno tuned mufflers with the black end caps. The only thing I'm still torn on is whether to go with the standard baffle that comes with the mufflers or go with the quiet baffle. Anyone running either one of these two combos care to comment please? Thanks
I'm currently running the Dyno tuned mufflers with the black end caps for another 2 days, getting ready for my 120r then I'll install my Dragulas. They are great pipes, I actually to some/all of the packing out of them to make them louder.
What's your opinion on loudness over stock on a scale of 1-10? Are you running them with the Vance and Hines head pipe in the pic? Thanks

Yes I'm running them with a V&H Power Duals headpipe. The loudness over stock would be about a 6 or 7, but I'm also running a TW-555 cam.
Thanks. Its not as much the loudness I dislike in my current set up as much as its that hollow sounding drone. rather have a snappy crisp sound! Looking to go quieter for long touring as well. Thanks again
I'm currently running the Cobra Power Sport dual headpipes and Vance & Hines Twin Slash Monster Rounds, the bike has a low deep rumble at an idle, a nice mellow drone in the cruise range and a nice crisp bark at wide open throttle. On a scale from 1-10 over stock I'd rate these at 6-8, another note in the cruise range you don't have to turn the radio up real loud to hear it, on my Sony stereo the volume scale goes from 0-50 and I normally keep it around 10-12, that's kinda low but still enjoyable while riding and I have no problem hearing it. 96ci, SE 204 cams, SE Ventilator A/C with Stage 1 download, SE Race Tuner Pro, Cobra Power Sport Dual Headpipes, V & H Twin Slash Monster Rounds, it's works well for me.

Got my Cobra Power Port Head Pipes this afternoon...Thanks DR. V-Twin! Nice looking well made pipe. I'm very pleased I decided to go with this head pipe from the looks! Now for some Jackpot mufflers....I'm still not sure if it should be regular or quiet baffle because I don't have a cat? The sound bytes don't have a quiet baffle for comparison?
