Here we go, It's not quite Friday yet but.... Some were wondering what the install looked like on the garage remote control.
Here is where I mounted the button. I might mention that the fairing is thicker here and I had to trim the rubber weather protection cover from the button, then install the plastic nut that holds the switch in place. Then I used some black RTV to re-attach the weather cover to the plastic nut.
Next I attached the remote control to the inner fairing stay with two black zip ties.
This weekend I will install the battery and find a hot lead and a ground lead to connect it to.
Plans for the weekend are to:
1:Front fender in paint.
2:Outer fairing fitted.
3:Outer fairing painted.
4:Maybe lowers painted.
I'm not sure, but I'd check the wiring (and location) on those gauges... My oil pressure, air temp, battery and fuel levels are in different locations from where you placed yours. If yours were in the same spot as mine, you're gonna have a prob.

Great catch, I'm sure that the diagram I made before and the way the factory manual has you looking from inside the fairing got me turned around. I did question myself when one of the connectors ha2 3 wires but the gauge only had 2.
