Ok ive decided basically what id like to do in the process of making my glide my own.....................but i would love to see other electra glide pictures of fellow owners here.....i get to check out all of your cool rides......see some great mod's and maybe take some cues as to other directions to go. So please feel free to show off your electra glides and ultra classics here.......your pics may serve to inspire..........
The only mods I've done since I bought the bike a couple of months ago are highway pegs on the crash bar, simple chrome shift rod w/ rod ends and a chrome strip across the top of the fairing.
2009 FLHTC
added fairing lowers, streetglide seat, pass pegs and rear shocks, cut down windscreen with rotozip.
detachable tourpak, roadking signal bar with undermount lic. plate.
chrome covers in all the allen bolts heads to speed up washday.
Tbag fairing pouches, pepboys rubber stubby antenna
I don't have a lot of pics but I have several boxes of parts with which I can change the look and style to suite my mood. I also have three seats which I can change around, Badlander for around town/ 1-200 mile trips, Mustang king and queen for the long trips, and a Lepera solo for TTing. The cool part of an older Glide is there are LOTs of parts out there, fleabay, craigslist, and swaps. I sometimes use going to look at something as a ride destination. The most important thing is just get out and ride, and if your like me wrenchfest are fun too.
