Different year bikes have different ignition switches and *****. The chrome **** device that the key is inserted in is not the actual ignition switch. It's just a unit that provides a way to lock the bike etc.. The switch housing is below the **** and it is where the actual electrical ignition switch resides. Both units can be different for different year bikes. Some have straight **** shafts and others have flat places on the shaft that must be alligned to insert the ****. I am looking for a video or diagram that shows the inside of the switch housing for a 2004 electraglide if anyone knows of such a thing. Thanks
