not to diss the new guys, but get the he'l over it.

You think it's not a perfectly engineered machine today? try my first Harley, a1976 AMF Sportser, at $3,600, (with inflation, extravigantcomparedto today's prices).I could go on for many paragraphs detailingthe mechanical opportunities that bike provided me. But no matter what I loved that damm bike and would give almost anything to have it back today. The same goes for the usedAMF 1978 FHL I bought in 1980. The problems and idiocycronies encounterdon both of these bikes onlycreateda bond of common obsticles which is difficult to explain. But the fact is, just like a family, it's the good and BAD that makesa relationship. Without the good and the BAD, there is no real bonding or appreciation. It's just another possesion. Money buys possesions, experiencies forge relationshipsthe and passion. I'll take passion over the possesion any time.....

As someone once said, "it's not the destination that counts, it'sthe journey.

The ones that are sick about the complaining, why don't you just skip the topic. Seems like it would be easy enough to not click on the topic. Then the ones of with bikes with a real problem can whine without offending the ones that don't care if we have clattering bikes. I guess the brotherhood of Harley riders doesn't exist anymore. There was a time when brother rider would do what ever to help. For sure those days are gone! What you guys are missing is all the '07s are notcreated equal. Should my bike not be as well as yours? It not a issue about accepting the noise a HD makes. Should all '07s not be the same?

rmfox,,, yea,, we came here for some insight, help, info, etc
Riiiigggghhhhttt(Dr. Evil voice). Nobody posting up about '07 problems are looking for anything other than a place to vent. Nobody is looking for answers because there aren't any answers. Any failures related to these strange noises? I haven't seen any posts on the subject nor have I heard of any through any other forums. The tranny noises, or wherever they originate from, seem to be nothing more than a nuisance to both the owners of the bikes themselves and the members of this forum that have to see 100 new posts a week on the subject. To me it seems that the majority of the posts on the matter are simply aimed to damage Harley's reputation and sales. I know Pittguy's posts are. I almost bought an '06 because of all the negativity associated with the '07 bikes but luckily I didn't. That is one reason alot of us happy '07 owners post up when the topic arises, to give the other side of coin to any prospective buyers out the looking at this forum for advice. To all you guys that have strange noises, I hope you get something done about it. To the happy '07 owners[sm=partyparty.gif]cheers. To all, Merry Christmas!
