Here in Saskatchewan premium fuel isn't ethanol polluted so that's what I put in the bike and my mustang.
The truck doesn't care so neither do I.
Now if your bike runs noticeably worse using regular instead of premium then use premium, however if the bike doesn't need it,and their is no other factor(ex.no ethanol) then use regular.
I always run 91-92 if I can get it. Regular grade is $3.50 gal have not looked at premium since bike is in storage at dealer. I'll stay with 91+ or above always.
you fellas had best quit complaining,,,,,,its 112 a litre here in canada so about 490 a us gallon,,,and we ship most of it your way...ride the tide, and dont worry, theres nothing we can do about it!!
Allow me to school you. You pay the same for oil as we do. The difference is your government taxes each litre more to cover your citizens healthcare & social programs.
I rather pay more for fuel and have free healthcare than to pay $1K a month for health insurance and $4 a gallon for gas.
I run whatever the premium is at the station I'm filling up at. Last year on my trip to Panama I had to use alot of 87 octane. It is what it is. Since I got a 2012 Street Glide I'm putting the Power Vision on and I'm going to get a map to run lower octane fuel for my trip this year.
The difference is about .30 per gallon? So that is 4x.30 to 6x.30? Sorry lived in Europe in the 90's and saw 6 to 13 dollars a gallon depending on what country I was in. Even at 5 bux a gallon it is cheap here.
